Job summary

New England Donor Services (NEDS) is hiring a Tissue Recovery Specialist in Waltham, MA. This full-time position offers paid training and an opportunity to join a professional surgical team focused on organ and tissue donation.

Responsibilities include aseptically removing tissues from deceased donors and travelling within New England as needed. Prior EMT/Paramedic/OR Tech experience is highly encouraged, with comprehensive benefits and a strong mission to save lives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2+ years hands-on healthcare experience as EMT/Paramedic/ER Tech/OR Tech required.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with safe driving record and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn to aseptically remove bones, skin, veins, corneas and other tissues from deceased donors.
• Work as part of a professional surgical team with hands-on paid training.
• Travel across New England in NEDS vehicles and meet driving requirements.
