Air Methods is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for Springfield, GA to support EMS transport operations. This role requires ensuring weather and aircraft airworthiness, complying with FAR, AIM, and GOM guidelines, and supporting patient transfers within an assigned area.

The position features a 7/7 schedule with 12-hour shifts, competitive compensation starting from $82,900 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2–5 years related EMS/flight experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• FAA medical certificate (First or Second Class) required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily flight sign-off.
• Final authority on aircraft operations and safety of passengers, crew and equipment.
• Conducts detailed flight planning with short notice to exacting standards.
• Participates in Air Methods meetings, activities, projects, committees and community outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
