Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Life Safety Systems Construction Manager to lead the electrical team on major industrial and hi-tech projects. You will coordinate with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors to address complex electrical coordination issues from preconstruction to commissioning.

Expect to oversee field installation, maintain schedules, and ensure quality control in live facilities. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving are essential assets for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in industrial and hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects.
• Experience working in a live high-tech facility.
• LEED Accredited Professional or ability to become within eighteen months.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.
• Extensive experience on large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors’ installation work daily to maintain schedule and support commissioning.
• Lead onsite Electrical quality control and document review from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Collaborate with design professionals, clients, and craftspeople to address coordination issues.
• Manage the Electrical Team and coordinate with multiple trades in field conditions.
• Adapt work schedule to extended hours or off-shift when required.
• Ensure compliance with CSI specs and construction methods.
