Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent to grow a local book of business through frequent home visits, premium collections, and policy sales. You’ll start with paid training to study for licensing exams and, once licensed, earn commissions on premiums and new sales.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
• Reliable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
