Job summary

You'll build calendars, promote activities across shifts, administer a volunteer program, and participate in IDT care conferences, collaborating with nursing and therapy teams to enrich daily life.

Strong organizational skills and a commitment to compassionate care are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in social or recreation programs in the last five years.
• Either a life enrichment professional background or healthcare professional in skilled nursing.
• GHCA Activity Director state-approved certification preferred or obtained within first year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain life enrichment calendars reflecting patient needs and activities.
• Promote ongoing delivery of life enrichment programs including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist in development and maintenance of a volunteer program with screening, orientation, and supervision.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings and resident care conferences.
• Assist with RAI/Care Plan processes as directed by the Director of Life Enrichment Programs.
• Coordinate and deliver life enrichment activities and maintain supplies/equipment.
