Job Overview

This role involves assisting in the implementation of a comprehensive activities program designed to meet the spiritual, physical, social, and psychosocial needs of community residents. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Director of Life Enrichment (DLE) with planning, coordinating, and executing community activities.
  2. Help plan the monthly activities calendar and newsletter, if necessary.
  3. Encourage residents to participate in activities, supporting their independence.
  4. Assist with ordering supplies and equipment for activities.
  5. Attend off-site outings and ensure residents' safety and engagement during trips.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned by the DLE.
  7. Maintain the Activity Participation Tracking Chart, if applicable.
  8. Support the success of the community's Parallel Programming schedule.
  9. Respect residents' rights to privacy during interactions.
  10. Possibly drive residents to and from activities safely when required.
  11. Work in a safe and alert manner, taking ownership of safety for yourself, residents, and staff.
  12. Disclose any medications that might impair your ability to perform your duties safely and competently.
