Job summary

Brandywine by Monarch Communities in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to enrich residents’ lives through spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming. You will plan and implement engaging activities, promote upcoming events, and help run games, crafts, and music sessions.

This part-time role offers a compassionate team environment and a salary of $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Part-time schedule includes Friday and Saturday shifts, with occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities required.
• Physical fitness to assist with activities and mobility support.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Experience with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Van driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming to engage residents.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities and help organize/run games, arts, music and other events.
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities.
• Occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to events (21+).
• Set up and break down events and activities.

Other organizations sometimes call this role an Activities Assistant, but we believe this role deserves the very special title of Life Enrichment Assistant!

At our community, our Life Enrichment Assistants play a key role in enriching our residents to live an active vibrant life!

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

What will you get to do as a Life Enrichment Assistant?

• Get to know the residents of our community so that you can help with the planning and implementation of spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional programming that will make residents feel engaged and fulfilled.
• Promote and communicate upcoming community events and activities.
• Participate in activities. Residents love games, painting, singing, and music and we need someone to help organize and run these events!
• Utilize social media, email, and newsletters to showcase the fun things happening each day!
• Those 21 or over may occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events.
• Help set up and break down events and activities.

Part Time Schedule:

Week 1 & 2 - (9:00am-5:00pm) Friday/Saturday

Salary Range:

$17.00- $18.00 Hourly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic first aid and CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Physical fitness to assist with activities and mobility support
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities (preferred)
• Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role (preferred)
• Knowledge of senior care or recreational activities (preferred)
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
