Oliver Woods Assisted Living and Memory Care in Owosso, MI is seeking a Part Time Life Enrichment Assistant. The role supports planning and delivering engaging activities for residents, with shifts Tue/Thu plus some Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay is $15.25 per hour and includes a focus on resident well‑being and safety. The position requires compassion for seniors, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsabilités

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication and execution of activities.
• Support Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain resident safety while performing tasks and functions.
• Support setup, cleanup and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Assist transportation by attending outings and coordinating related tasks.
• Uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.

Overview:

• Location: 1330 W Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867
• Job Type: Part Time
• Schedule: Every Tuesday and Thursday. Every other Monday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekday shifts from 12pm-6pm and weekend shifts from 10:30am-2:30pm
• Pay: $15.25 per hour

Position Summary:

The Life Enrichment Assistant assists in planning and performing life enrichment activities that are beneficial and complimentary to the social welfare and interests of the residents of a senior life connections community.

Required Experience for Life Enrichment Assistant:

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant:

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.

General Working Conditions:

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
