Job summary

Holy Family Senior Living in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to support residents with engaging activities on a per diem basis.

You will plan group activities, provide one-on-one engagement, document progress, and assist with outings and transportation as part of the interdisciplinary team at Holy Family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in healthcare, activities/recreation, senior living, or a related setting preferred.
• Experience with memory care preferred.
• Friendly, energetic and compassionate with residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead group activities for residents based on interests and needs.
• Provide one-on-one engagement, visits, sensory activities and leisure planning.
• Monitor participation and progress and report to Life Enrichment Director.
• Complete activity notes, attendance, and care documentation.
• Plan outings and community programs like garden club and special events.
• Assist with activities and transportation and safe loading/unloading.

Life Enrichment Assistant

Per Diem Hours based on need, either 10 am - 6 pm or 11 am - 7 pm

Pay: $16.50-$19.50/hour based on experience and shift differential

Holy Family Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team in Bethlehem, PA. At Holy Family, we care like family.

What You'll Do as a Life Enrichment Assistant:

• Plan and lead group activities that support residents' interests, abilities, and individual needs.
• Provide one‑on‑one engagement with residents, including friendly visits, sensory stimulation, reality orientation, and individualized leisure activities.
• Monitor and report resident participation, responses, and progress to the Director of Life Enrichment and collaborate as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete required resident documentation, including activity progress notes, attendance records, MDS assessments, CAAs, and care plans.
• Plan and support resident outings and special programs, including the Resident Garden Club and community activities.
• Assist residents with activities and transportation, including restorative exercises, transporting residents to activity areas, and safely loading/unloading residents for outings.

Life Enrichment Assistant Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in healthcare, activities/recreation, senior living, or a related setting preferred
• Experience working with older adults, including those with memory care needs, preferred
• Friendly, energetic, and compassionate with the ability to engage residents with varying needs and abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members
