Job summary

Touchmark on West Prospect is seeking a Part-Time Life Enrichment Coordinator to design and lead meaningful activities for residents in memory care. Join a mission-driven team delivering person-centered programs that enrich daily life with creativity, compassion, and engagement.

You will plan group and individual activities, adapt to abilities, and collaborate with care staff to ensure safety and inclusion, while building strong relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in social or recreational programming in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity when engaging with residents living with dementia.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move throughout the community.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead activities that support residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Build strong relationships with residents and families.
• Adapt programs to meet varying ability levels and interests.
• Facilitate group and one‑on‑one programs, including music, art, movement, and sensory activities.
• Assist with outings and special events, ensuring safety and inclusion.
• Collaborate with the Resident Care Manager and other departments to align programming with resident needs.
• Maintain attendance, participation, and progress documentation.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant college coursework preferred. Must be 18 years old to work in this licensed neighborhood
• Experience in social or recreational programming in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Patience, empathy, and creativity when engaging with residents living with dementia.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., move throughout the community, and transport residents to events.
