Job summary

Oxford Grand at New Market in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a Life Engagement Coordinator (Activities Assistant) to support residents through engaging programming and exceptional service. This part-time, on-site role focuses on enriching daily life with planned activities and personalized resident engagement.

You will collaborate with Life Engagement Director and care teams to deliver meaningful experiences, educate families, and foster a warm, homelike environment for residents while contributing

Qualifications

• Duties include planning and facilitating life engagement activities per schedule.
• Provide feedback to enhance programming and resident satisfaction.
• Educate residents and families on the importance of life engagement programming.
• Collaborate with leadership and care teams to deliver meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate life engagement activities according to the approved schedule and in conjunction with individual resident's Negotiated Service Agreements
• Provide feedback to the Life Engagement Director regarding success of scheduled programming, including recommendation for program enhancements
• Continually observe resident satisfaction with life engagement programming and look for opportunities to engage resident families for feedback
• Communicate with community leadership and resident families regarding successes and challenges observed while facilitating programs
• Educate residents, resident families, community leaders, and team members on the importance of life engagement programming
• Serve as a resource for team members regarding opportunities for additional informal life engagement activities outside of the scheduled programming

Your Life Engagement Coordinator (Activities Assistant) duties and responsibilities include:

Life Engagement Programming

• Facilitate life engagement activities according to the approved schedule and in conjunction with individual resident's Negotiated Service Agreements
• Provide feedback to the Life Engagement Director regarding success of scheduled programming, including recommendation for program enhancements

Customer Service

• Continually observe resident satisfaction with life engagement programming and look for opportunities to engage resident families for feedback regarding individual resident preferences
