Overview

Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Life Cycle Logistics Management Analyst IV to support PM Soldier Survivability (SSV) at Ft. Belvoir, VA and Huntsville, AL. The role involves engineering, quality assurance, test support, acquisition, business management, logistics, fielding, operations, and administrative duties across program management, analysis, planning, studies, liaison, communications, engineering, logistics, training, testing, contracting, software development, safety, and quick response.

Responsibilities

• Provides senior-level logistics expertise.
• Integrates and plans for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of sustainment and acquisition.
• Interfaces with ASAALT, AMC, LCMC, PEO Soldier, ATEC, AEC, CASCOM, MCOE, and other PEOs and PM regarding logistics requirements.
• Plans, develops, coordinates, defends, and executes all aspects of PMs’ Life Cycle Logistics support under DoD acquisition and sustainment processes.
• Produces acquisition logistics documentation for PMs’ products.
• Performs and develops plans and projects, determines needs, investigates and resolves problems, interfaces with other functions and stakeholders, prepares capital assets and operating requests, and manages functional areas.
• Assists in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools (GCSS‑Army, DPAS, LMP, etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations.
• Directs activities of applicable stakeholders to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life‑cycle management functions.
• Provides Air Drop Liaison support IAW with PWS.
• Demonstrates competency in communication, leadership, logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Security Clearance: Secret.
• Education: BA or BS.
• Experience: At least 20 years.

Technical Skills

• Thorough understanding of Life Cycle Logistics regulations and policies, including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142.
• Acquisition experience in the DoD environment.

Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.

Additional Information

Location: Onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Travel: 25%.
