Job summary

Life Time is seeking a LifeCafe Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, ensuring a high-quality member experience. You will motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and monitor food quality and service speed to maintain guest satisfaction.

The role requires leading shifts, adjusting schedules for traffic, ensuring proper menu prep, and addressing member questions promptly while collaborating with management on promotions and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• ServeSafe certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs and stand/move for long periods.
• Night and weekend availability based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage LifeCafe shift operations and adjust schedules based on traffic flow.
• Act as daily shift leader providing customer and team support.
• Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers professionally.
• Provide promotions and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manage light food prep responsibilities.
• Respond promptly to member questions, comments, and concerns.

Position Summary

The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the LifeCafe. They deliver a high-quality experience to the members, and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service. They also monitor food quality and speed of service ensuring a positive member and guest experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow

• Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support

• Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner

• Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager

• Manages light food prep responsibilities

• Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

• ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire

• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.

• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

• Night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and pays up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
