Job summary

Life Time is seeking a LifeCafe Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, ensure a high-quality member experience, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.

You will monitor food quality, assist with scheduling, and guide the team through busy periods while maintaining a positive cafe environment. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong guest-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification within 30 days.
• ServeSafe certification within 60 days.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs repeatedly.
• Stand and move around the cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage LifeCafe shift operations and adjust schedules per traffic.
• Act as daily shift leader providing customer and team support.
• Ensure menu items prepared correctly and serve customers professionally.
• Provide promotions and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager.
• Manage light food preparation.
• Respond promptly to member questions and concerns.

Position Summary

The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the LifeCafe. They deliver a high-quality experience to the members, and motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service. They also monitor food quality and speed of service ensuring a positive member and guest experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• - Manages LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• - Acts as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• - Ensures team members prepare menu items correctly and service customers in a professional manner
• - Provides promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• - Manages light food prep responsibilities
• - Quickly and efficiently responds to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• - High School Diploma or GED
• - CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• - ServeSafe certification with the first 60 days of hire
• - Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• - Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• - N ight and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• - 1-2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high volume atmosphere
