Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Store Clerk for our Lidgerwood, ND location. You will be the face of CHS, providing friendly customer service, handling transactions, organizing product displays and maintaining store appearance.

You will work with a diverse team, manage inventory as needed, and follow safety policies. The role requires at least 1 year in retail or related fields and the ability to read, write and communicate in English. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service.
• Basic reading, writing and English communication for customers and coworkers.
• Able to operate store equipment including cash register and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service; greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Process cash, card payments and issue receipts.
• Display and organize products for easy locating by customers.
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning and restocking.
• Order merchandise and track inventory as assigned.
• Monitor customers to assist loss prevention.
• Assist with displays and promotions.
• Follow safety policies and identify/workplace hazards.
