Job summary

GeoSearch in Indianapolis is seeking a full-time LiDAR Scanning Manager to lead scanning efforts for a Data Center project. You will plan, setup, and execute scanning campaigns and ensure integration with BIM and construction teams.

You will coordinate with survey teams, establish control for site scanning, and work closely with BIM managers and critical construction crews. NavVis VLX3 will be used to capture high-quality as-built data onsite.

Qualifications

• Proven reality capture experience.
• Experience with large-scale industrial or critical facilities is a plus.
• Proficiency with virtual design tools and BIM methodologies.
• Electrical experience a plus.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with diverse teams.
• Must work onsite.
• 50 hours/week.

Job description

GeoSearch is actively seeking a full-time LiDAR Scanning Manager. The Scanning Manager will lead the development and execution of scanning for an electrical subcontractor on a Data Center Project. Responsibilities include planning, setup, execution, processing, and integration with BIM and construction teams. Responsibilities also include coordination with survey teams and establishing control for proper site scanning. The candidate will work closely with our BIM manager and critical construction teams. The candidate will utilize a NavVis VLX3, provided by GeoSearch’s client.

• Large scale industrial, mission critical, or advanced manufacturing a plus
