Job summary

Clutch Canada is seeking a versatile engineer in Mountain View, California, to manage the lifecycle of sensor data for their innovative 4D LiDAR systems. This role involves characterizing sensor performance, developing production-grade data pipelines, and collaborating closely with hardware and integration teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and has at least 3 years of experience in software development and systems engineering. Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience blending software development with hardware/systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with LiDAR, radar, or camera systems.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and experience designing data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison for customers and characterize 4D LiDAR performance.
• Develop Python and C++ infrastructure to ingest and validate data.
• Run calibration workflows and debug hardware/software integration issues.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines for sensor data.
• Collaborate with operations and customer engineering teams for data collection.
