Job summary

Bradley Hospital in Providence, RI seeks a clinician to deliver individual, family, and group therapy along with mental health evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will participate in treatment planning and implement the plan to address patient and family needs, while maintaining thorough documentation and coordinating with schools, therapists, physicians, and other supports.

The role requires an MSW/related master’s degree and an independent RI license (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT);

Qualifications

• Master's degree in any human services field required, such as social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology from an accredited graduate school.
• Current independent license from State of Rhode Island required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
• Significant experience and/or training work with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and mental health evaluations.
• Participate in treatment planning to set therapeutic goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in the execution of the treatment plan goals as they pertain to the therapeutic aspects of the patient/family care.
• Complete all required documentation in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment interventions and recommendations as relevant.
• Clinical case management to coordinate and collaborate in care with multidisciplinary team and community supports.
