Job summary

Faith Community Church in southwest Iowa seeks a full-time, licensed Associate Pastor to lead our youth (6th–12th) and children (1st–5th) ministries. The role requires CMA licensing and a passion for discipling young people within an intergenerational church.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership, recruit and develop volunteers, and collaborate with the pastoral team to equip families and the wider congregation for ministry impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of ministry experience in youth, children, or family ministry.
• CMA licensing preferred or in process as part of the role requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in ministry-related field preferred; advanced degree not required.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight & Direction: implement and oversee all programming for children and youth.
• Volunteer Development: recruit, train, schedule, and empower volunteers.
• Teaching and Discipling: provide biblically centered teaching for students and kids.
• Family Partnership: partner with families in spiritual development of children and youth.
• Budget & Administration: manage ministry budget and safety/compliance policies.
• Pastoral Team Member: participate in staff meetings and general pastoral duties.
