Job summary

The Woodhouse Day Spa - Detroit is hiring licensed weekend massage therapists with 2+ years of experience for second shift, offering 3–5 hour afternoon blocks on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

As a member of our spa team, you will perform exceptional massages and body treatments, preparing each session to Woodhouse standards, and educating guests on the benefits of services while recommending at-home care products and other offerings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Massage Therapist with at least 2 years of experience.
• Weekend availability for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday afternoons (3–5 hour shifts).
• Customer-focused and able to educate guests on services.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality massages and body treatments following Woodhouse protocols.
• Prepare each treatment based on criteria for consistency and quality.
• Educate guests on benefits and suggest home care products.
• Promote other Woodhouse services and enhancements to guests.
• Maintain Woodhouse brand standards in treatment areas.
• Pursue ongoing skills development through continuing education.

We are hiring Licensed Weekend Massage Therapists with 2+ years experience for our second shift

These are 3-5 hours shifts in the afternoon Friday, Saturday or Sunday

More specifically, our masterful Massage Therapist:

• Performs exceptional massages and body treatments following award winning protocols
• Fully prepares each and every treatment based on our treatment criteria
• Educates the guest on the benefits of the service performed and recommends products for home use
• Talks up all the other great services we offer and provides enhancement treatments
• Provides consistent and stellar treatments up to 7-8 times per day (we like to keep you busy)
• Is a steward of the Woodhouse Brand making sure all treatment areas are prepared to the Woodhouse standards
• Always improving skills by attending continuing education classes
