SPENCER'S, a luxury boutique spa in Brooklyn, seeks a dependable Licensed Massage Therapist Floater to cover Thursday through Sunday and provide high-end massage services onsite at our Soho NYC area locations. This role supports peak days and guest demand while maintaining Spencer's hospitality standards.

The position emphasizes flexibility, consistency, and exceptional guest care. A NY license, 500+ hours of training, and 2+ years in a luxury spa are preferred; weekend commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NY State Massage Therapy License.
• 500+ hours of massage training from an approved provider.
• 2+ years of experience in a luxury spa environment preferred.
• Availability and commitment to work Thursday through Sunday.
• Ability to remain onsite and ready to provide coverage throughout scheduled shifts.
• Strong interpersonal and professional skills with clearly articulated boundaries.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to adapt to different guest needs and preferences.
• Passion for providing exceptional, client-centered massage and luxury hospitality.
• Willingness to learn Spencer's protocols and attend paid training and upskilling sessions.
• Ability to perform Deep Tissue techniques when required.
• Experience with hot stones, Thai massage, and reflexology preferred.
• Must be able to remain on site and move within the spa space.

Responsibilities

• Be onsite and available Thursday through Sunday during scheduled shifts.
• Provide massage treatments when needed due to therapist call-outs, emergencies, schedule changes, or increased guest demand.
• Deliver Spencer's luxury hospitality experience to every guest.
• Assess, consult, and perform full-body massage and specialty treatments professionally.
• Provide massage sessions of varying durations based on guest needs.
• Provide exceptional, client-centered service and care to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold Spencer's standards of service.
• Keep treatment rooms and shared spa spaces clean and organized.
• Support the spa team with guest experience and operational needs when coverage is not required.
• Collaborate with therapists, Spa Hosts, and management for a seamless guest experience.
• Participate in paid training programs and monthly upskilling sessions.
• Remain flexible to changing business needs.
