• Monitors patient placement in appropriate programs and coordinates care.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts education for patients and families.
• Administers medications timely according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Participates in rounds with physicians as needed.
