Job summary

Judge John C. Creuzot Judicial Treatment Facility in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans with the clinical team, and manage case coordination for clients within a judicial treatment setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including vitals and history.
• Develop and implement care plans with the clinical team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor reactions.
• Provide education to clients and staff on health topics, infection control, and related issues.
• Maintain confidential client records in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist physicians with examinations and treatments.
• Coordinate referrals and transportation for appointments.
• Perform TB testing and maintain related records.
