Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a part-time role in Northern California. The position offers AM & PM shifts with 10–12 hours per week and pay between $30.00 and $33.00 per hour, DOE.

Location is one assigned site in Northern CA. The LVN will administer medications, provide hands-on nursing care and support adults with developmental disabilities in community settings.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN License.
• 1+ year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• CPR/First Aid & CPI current status.
• 21+ years old with a valid CA driver’s license.
• A caring heart, positive attitude and team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and injections (Five Rights).
• Provide hands-on nursing care (wound care, g-tube feedings, colostomy care, insulin).
• Monitor vitals, infections and neurological status.
• Support individuals with daily living activities.
• Attend medical appointments and advocate for clients.
• De-escalate behavioral episodes using CPI techniques.
• Document care and celebrate progress.
• Join community outings like beach days, hikes and activities.
