This position must integrate company values into daily practice.This is a **PRN** position**.****Essential Functions:*** Provides skilled nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.* Implements orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the Registered Nurse.* Provides information to the Registered Nurse to assist in the development of an individualized plan of care for each patient.* Participates in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seeks guidance in redirection when necessary.* Reports to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients’ needs, and resolution to those needs.* Helps identify patient problems and potential risks and contributes to the development of interventions.* Assists in identification of patient’s learning needs and reinforces self-care and other techniques.* Appropriately designates applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital’s established system.* May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.* Provides an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
