MemorialCare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for our Urgent Care team in Irvine, CA. This full-time day-shift role offers a $3,500 signing bonus for external hires and a pay range of $30.08 to $43.60 per hour, with additional incentives possible.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, data collection, and contributing to the care plan under physician or RN direction. Requires California LVN license with IV certification and BLS.

Position Summary

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for caring for patients in the ambulatory setting by assisting in the collection of subjective and objective data, recognize problems or abnormal conditions specific to the patient and perform a psychosocial assessment using active listening, verbal communication, and non-verbal communication. The LVN will contribute to the development of the patient plan of care and will implement, under the direction of a physician, AHP, or RN, only those parts of the plan of care that are within the LVN scope of practice.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Prior nursing experience in ambulatory care environment preferred, urgent care experience highly preferred.

Education

• Current California LVN License with IV Certification required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required
