Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) in Chico, CA to provide patient care across facilities under RN supervision. You’ll have flexible scheduling and a range of assignments—including per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire options—so you can balance work with personal priorities.

As an LVN, you’ll take vitals, assist with treatments, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and other staff to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in CA.
• One year nursing experience preferred, minimum six months required.
• Ability to pass pre-hire physical, TB test, background check, and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency and compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assistedliving facilities, skilled nursing facilities,hospitals and schools—under the supervision of an RN
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs and aides to deliver excellent patient care
• Take patient vitals, do assessments, document progress and report changes to RN supervisor
• Assist RN in carrying out physician’s orders, patient care and prescribed treatments
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment

A few must-haves for Licensed Vocational Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program and active LVN license in CA
