Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program.
• Texas LVN license (current and valid).
• BLS through the American Heart Association.
• 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program.
• Computer experience.
• Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for the assigned clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator.
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Identify priorities and organize care for multiple patients.
• LVN II/III include all duties of LVN I.
