Job summary

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide foundational care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will document progress, follow physician plans, and work closely with the Case Manager and Program Manager to support personal goals.

Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs, infection control, and staff training. Requires CA LVN license, high school diploma or GED, and English/Spanish bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (CA) license completed and active.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows basic nursing principles and collaborates with a care team.
• Provides basic care, feeding, and supervision for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Documents progress toward goals and reports changes to supervisors.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors health status.
• Observes clients, records vital signs, and reports any adverse events.
• Trains staff on health care topics and ensures infection control practices are followed.
