Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Pico Rivera, CA to provide direct patient care under supervision. The LVN will perform vital signs, phlebotomy, data gathering, and administer medications, while verifying meds for Medical Assistants within the LVN scope of practice.

Ideal candidates have a CA LVN license, 1 year clinic experience preferred, and may hold IV/certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) graduate with current California LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient/inpatient clinic care preferred.
• IV certification and wound care experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities in English and additional language(s) depending on location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
• Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, data gathering and medication administration.
• Verify medications for Medical Assistants within the LVN scope of practice.
