CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio, TX seeks an LVN to provide care under supervision of physicians and registered nurses for clinic patients. The role includes basic patient care, vitals, specimen collection, and assisting with exams and treatments.

The nurse administers medications and immunizations per orders, supports patient flow, handles phone calls, scheduling, and clerical duties, and maintains sterile technique according to policy. Full-time, 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.

• Obtains vital signs, weighs patients and collects specimens as needed.
• Administers medications/immunizations per provider orders.
• Assists physicians in examinations and treatment; supports patient flow.

Responsabilidades

• Under physician direction, performs basic patient care duties.
• Answers phone messages and assists with patient-related calls.
• Schedules tests, results and pre-certification.
• Documents patient information accurately.
• Assists with medication refills.
• Maintains exam rooms and cleans equipment.
• Performs routine clerical duties and attends trainings.
