Overview

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.

This position requires providing care and/or service to a critically adult/ geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. • Correctly differentiates between normal/abnormal findings; refers abnormal findings to the Registered Nurse.


• Follows appropriate Code Blue notification procedures.


• Effectively prioritizes clinical interventions and care.

Qualifications
