Job summary

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital in Texas is seeking a motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse to support patient care across our rehabilitation unit. The LVN will apply the nursing process, monitor conditions, administer medications as directed, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote safe, effective recovery.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARYDevelops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of the hospital. The Licensed Vocational Nurse is also responsible for including all aspects of patient care incorporating the nursing process in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. The staff LVN shall ensure that the unit to which assigned shall function in a smooth, organized, and efficient manner as directed by the Charge Nurse. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care.
