Pets Furst Urgent Care in Langhorne, PA, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our 4.5 doctor urgent care team. Compensation ranges from $25–$35/hour, commensurate with licensure and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed/Certified/Registered Veterinary Technician credential required.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, laboratory procedures, radiology, and dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement and ongoing monitoring.
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform laboratory diagnostics including urinalysis, hematology, fecals, and cytology; document results.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, including radiology and ultrasound systems.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per hospital policies.
• Maintain controlled drug logs and proper handling of substances.
• Document treatment plans and update medical records.
• Support operations through accurate chart auditing and charge entry.
• Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and products.
• Maintain sterile and organized treatment areas; manage inventory.
• Promote teamwork and professional communication across departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to state acts and hospital policies.
