Job summary

Livewell Animal Hospital, LLC is seeking an urgent care credentialed veterinary technician to support high-stakes emergency care under a veterinarian’s supervision. You will perform triage, stabilize patients, monitor vital signs, and assist with anesthesia and critical care nursing, while clearly explaining treatments to pet owners and ensuring accurate handoffs.

An AVMA-accredited program graduate with a current state license; 1 year in veterinary care preferred; calm, decisive, and strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Proficiency in a range of technical skills, with a strong aptitude for emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Confidence in handling animals of all temperaments and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively under pressure.
• One year of experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus!

Responsibilities
