Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Snider Veterinary Services in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 based on experience and credentials, with a mission to deliver exceptional care for pets and clients.

You will provide high-quality patient care, manage records, support surgeries, and maintain a compassionate hospital environment that supports staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Michigan License with minimum 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, care plans, records and diagnostics.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering meds and vaccines.
• Assist during examinations and surgeries; manage supplies and patient flow.
• Maintain medical records with accurate documentation and updates.
• Communicate status to pet owners as directed by the veterinarian.
• Ensure clean rooms, proper sanitation, and instrument sterility.
• Release pets after care ensuring cleanliness and proper handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
