Animal Medical Center of Cumming, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team in Cumming, GA. You will provide quality patient care, assist during surgeries, and support clients with clear communication.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, a flexible part-time schedule, and a supportive Culture of Care across 400+ hospitals nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be considered.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.

Responsabilités

• Perform vaccinations for veterinary patients.
• Laboratory sample collection and processing.
• Safe animal handling and restraint.
• Obtain radiographs (x-rays) as needed.
• Run in-house laboratory tests.
• Assist doctors and technicians with pre-surgical prep.
• Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery.
• Discuss treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients.
• Maintain patient medical records and billing notes.
