Small Door in Burlington, MA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in a modern, stress-free clinic. You will triage, assess patients, record vitals, assist doctors, and perform in-house labs and radiography as part of a collaborative, AAHA-accredited practice.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of LVT experience in a general practice setting.
• Weekend availability (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable using computers and online tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and recognizing emergencies and illnesses.
• Assessing patients, recording vitals, and assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor and basic nursing care.
• Monitoring patients and providing compassionate care.
• Taking blood, placing catheters, and assisting with radiography.
• Preparing samples for outside labs and running in-house tests.
• Preparing and administering medications; maintaining a hospitable environment.

What you'll do

• Triaging

• Availability to work weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
