Crestwood Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor team just outside Louisville, KY. You will showcase clinical skills, advocate for patients, and collaborate with veterinarians to elevate care.

Join us in Crestwood, KY for a role that includes diagnostic sampling, anesthesia monitoring, radiography, dental radiology, and compassionate nursing across canine, feline, and exotic patients. Excellent teamwork is a must.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician credential is required.
• Strong teamwork and client education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient advocacy.
• Perform diagnostic sample collection, catheter placement, and venipuncture.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor during procedures.
• Assist with dental radiography and prophylactic cleanings.

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at our hospital, you'll have the chance to showcase your expertise, collaborate closely with our veterinarians and elevate our medical standards. You’ll serve as a vital patient advocate, delivering compassionate nursing care that encompasses a diverse range of your technical skills including diagnostic sample collection, catheter placement, venipuncture, radiography, anesthesia and pain management, dental radiology, and prophylactic cleanings.

Located just outside of Louisville, our multi-doctor hospital is AAHA-accredited, Cat-Friendly, and Free-Free Certified; we provide top-tier medical care to canine, feline, and exotic patients. Our beautiful, spacious facility offers a full range of diagnostic tools and services including dentistry, digital x-rays, oncology, ultrasonography, therapeutic laser, grooming, physical rehab including an underwater treadmill, and house calls for end-of-life care. We are proud to partner with Oldham County Humane Society, Paws with Purpose, Dogs Helping Heroes, and many more. We even treat the police dogs of the Oldham County Police Department!

Who you are:

• Skill and Experience – You are a seasoned professional with at least 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice setting and are a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
