Qualifications
- AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries and diagnostic procedures.
- Perform lab work and other technical tasks as part of the medical team.
- Lead and mentor teammates to ensure efficient workflow and growth.
- Educate clients on treatments and review medical records with pet owners.
