Job summary
Jarrell Animal Hospital is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our experienced medical team in Texas. You will provide comprehensive patient care, administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program with a current state license is required. Prior experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential to support clinicians and educate pet owners.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
- Perform lab work and assist in diagnostic procedures.
- Lead and mentor teammates to maintain efficient workflow and high standards.
- Educate pet owners, review medical records, and respond to questions.
