Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join the Internal Medicine team at Mission Veterinary in Mission, KS. This full-time role offers exposure to board-certified specialists, advanced diagnostics, and a diverse caseload in a 24-hour specialty hospital.

We value teamwork, mentorship, and ongoing learning, with competitive compensation starting at $25+/hr based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on and a $2,500 relocation bonus for qualified

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential required.
• Experience working as a Veterinary Technician in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Strong foundation in patient care and veterinary medicine.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed and professional during stressful or emotional situations.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with veterinarians and other Veterinary Technicians.
• Willingness to learn new and advanced techniques and continue developing clinical skills.
• Ability to provide and receive mentorship, guidance, and feedback in a team environment.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as a Licensed Veterinary Technician within the Internal Medicine team.
• Utilize your veterinary technician skills to support advanced patient care, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with veterinarians, board-certified Internal Medicine specialists, and other Veterinary Technicians.
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic, imaging, and monitoring equipment as part of the Internal Medicine team.
• Support patients undergoing advanced diagnostic workups and treatment plans.
• Assist with procedures and treatments associated with complex medical cases.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members regarding patient care.
• Maintain a calm, professional, and compassionate approach when working with patients and families during stressful or emotional situations.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and technical skills.
• After gaining appropriate knowledge and experience, train, coach, mentor, and teach newer Veterinary Technicians and team members.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on quality medicine, patient care, and continuous learning.
