My Vet Animal Clinic in Eureka, MO seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, labs, nursing, and client education. This role partners with the team to deliver high-quality patient care and smooth client interactions.

The position offers weekday hours with weekends off, competitive pay of $18–$25 per hour, and benefits. Previous licensed technician experience and strong communication are valued for excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a current veterinary technician license in the state of employment.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills are essential.
• Ability to assist in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and lab work with team support.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures as needed.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights during outpatient exams and educate clients.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs intraoperatively.
• Collect samples and perform in-hospital laboratory testing.
• Take radiographs and maintain safety procedures.
• Provide basic animal handling and restraint during exams.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per veterinarian instruction.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized; support team in operations.
• Communicate with vets and staff about patient plans and client concerns.
