Job summary

Westland Veterinary Hospital in Westland, Michigan, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a AAHA-accredited, small animal practice. You will apply nursing, surgery, dental, radiology, and laboratory skills in a collaborative team.

New grads and VTNE-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus and competitive pay from $20 to $26 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, anesthesia, radiology, and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing laboratory work.
• Mentor and support the medical team to maintain efficient workflow.
• Educate pet owners on treatments and review medical records.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture and ongoing professional development.
