Clarendon Animal Care – South Arlington is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our AAHA‑accredited hospital. Located in Arlington, VA, we deliver high‑quality small animal care with strong mentorship and ongoing education to support your professional growth.

You’ll contribute to patient care, assist with anesthesia, nursing, dental care and labs, mentor teammates, and educate clients. We offer a competitive $30–$33/hour, a team‑driven culture, and a schedule that supports

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with the team.
• One year of experience in the veterinary industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your full skillset: administer treatments, monitor anesthesia, and perform lab work.
• Be a leader and mentor, guiding the medical team and mentoring others.
• Partner with clients: educate pet owners on treatments and review medical records.
