Spencer Springs Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician. You will work with experienced DVMs to deliver high-quality care and ensure smooth hospital operations. A state credential (LVT or VTIT) is required, and weekend availability is expected.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, client communication, and support across departments in a collaborative environment that values growth and innovation in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinary Technician in Training (VTIT) with current state certification.
• Strong animal handling skills and ability to work safely with diverse temperaments.
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures, lab work, and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, and radiography.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams, administer treatments, and assist veterinarians with surgeries.
• Triages patients, gathers histories, and restrains animals to minimize stress.
• Communicate with clients about treatment plans under veterinarian direction.
• Maintain accurate medical records and controlled drug logs.
• Collaborate with the team, train new staff, and participate in staff meetings.
