Qualifications

• Current LVT credential or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong technical and patient care skills.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred.
• Knowledge of radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and patient nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures.
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and sample collection.
• Conduct laboratory testing, radiology, and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and therapeutic treatments as directed.
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Practice Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques.
• Support efficient workflow and collaborate with the medical team.
