Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with state credentials
• Strong clinical and patient-care skills
• Ability to assist with surgical procedures
• Accurate medication dosing and recordkeeping
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Proficiency with venipuncture and IV placement
• Experience in dental prophylaxis
• Excellent client communication and education skills
• Commitment to teamwork and ongoing learning

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and patient care
• Assist with routine and complex surgical procedures
• Prepare patients, equipment, and surgical areas
• Support anesthesia preparation, monitoring, recovery, and perioperative care
• Calculate and administer medications and vaccines
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Conduct laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Provide dental prophylaxis and preventive care
• Educate clients about treatments and vaccines
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and records
• Collaborate with team for efficient daily workflow
• Share knowledge to support colleagues' growth
