Job summary
Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Chantilly, VA area team. We offer full-time and part-time positions at Chantilly, Fairfax, and Fair Lakes locations.
The LVT will perform supervised veterinary technician appointments, support preventive care programs, and help build trusting relationships with pets and their families. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to state regulations, and delivering high-quality care while upholding Banfield’s mission
Qualifications
- Virginia LVT license or eligibility required.
- Experience in preventive pet care is a plus.
- Strong communication with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and diagnostic care under supervision of a veterinarian.
- Perform veterinarian technician appointments as approved by supervising veterinarian.
- Foster strong relationships with pets and their humans.
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain a positive work culture.
- Apply Banfield five principles in daily practice.
- Contribute to advancing veterinary medicine within the hospital.
