University Place Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers a 4 x 10-hour schedule with weekends off, and a competitive hourly rate ($28–$32).

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials required.
• Strong clinical and surgical support skills preferred.
• Commitment to client communication and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint.
• Support preventative care and vaccine appointments.
• Assist with induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients.
• Support emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation.
• Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house lab work.
• Communicate professionally with clients and staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and technicians to ensure workflow efficiency.
